earWorm is an improvisationally driven electroacoustic quartet of composer-performers. All of our music is performed live and, as such, presents an immediate and immersive experience of collective improvisation to the listener. Sonic landscapes are forged as musical actions develop and unfold. We playfully react in each moment of discovery. Our combined style is as varied as our collective musical experience, freely dancing within a panoply of jazz, blues, minimalism, electronica, trance, hip-hop, ambient, funk, rock, latin, classical, world, folk, and just about everywhere else in-between. Vivacious, creepy, transcendent, often funky and sometimes poignant, this is a music driven by process. This is earWorm.

April 21, 2011: Andrews Park Amphitheater-Norman, OK earWorm will perform live at Andrews Park in Norman, Ok. 8 p.m.
April 22, 2011: Form and Function Lab-Norman, OK earWorm will perform an evening of music at this hip art gallery. Show starts at 8 p.m.
April 23, 2011: Catalett Music Center - Norman, OK earWorm will perform an evening of music at the University of Oklahoma’s Catalett Music Center. Show starts at 8 p.m.
September 29, 2010-: SPARK Festival - Minneapolis, MN earWorm will perform one set as part of the University of Minnesota SPARK festival. Love Power Church in Minneapolis. 10 p.m.
September 25, 2010-: Cafe Maude - Minneapolis, MN earWorm will perform three sets at this wonderful Minneapolis eatery and bar. First set starts at 8 p.m.
September 24, 2010: The Black Dog Wine & Coffee Bar Two sets at the Black Dog in Saint Paul, MN. First set at 8 p.m.
April 29, 2010: InverHills College Two sets at InverHills College at the Black Box Theatre in Saint Paul, MN. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

March 12, 2010: Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church We performed on the IU East “Hear and Now” music festival with a concert in Richmond, IN.
December 3-6, 2009: ISIM Annual Conference We performed a set during the 2009 International Society for Improvised Music conference held at the University of California Santa Cruz. Other shows in the area included an impromptu performance at the subRosa coffeehouse in Santa Cruz.

April 18, 2012: Cafe Maude - Minneapolis, MN earWorm will perform an evening of music at one of Minneapolis’ finest eating establishments, Cafe Maude. We are very excited to perform again at Maude. Come for a fine meal and some groovy music! Two sets, starting at 7:00pm SPECIAL GUEST: Peter Farmer, tenor saxophone.
